For Immediate Release:

 

Michael S. Welch, Special Agent in Charge of the Indianapolis Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Chief Ben Neitzel of the Michigan City Police Department, Michigan City, Indiana , jointly announce the arrests of two individuals charged with the March 25, 2008 robbery of the LaPorte Community Federal Credit Union, Michigan City , Indiana . Additionally, they are requesting the public’s assistance in locating the remaining two subjects charged with the same robbery.

On March 27, 2008 , Kerry Rice, Jr., 21 years old, of Gary, Indiana, and Stefen Cordell Rice, 18 years old, of East Chicago, Indiana, were arrested without incident by Agents and Officers assigned to the Gang Response Investigative Team (GRIT) as well as officers of the Michigan City Police Department.

The following two charged subjects remain at-large:

Breion Campbell , black male, date of birth April 16, 1985 , 5’10”, 155 pounds, from Gary , Indiana .

Charles Scott , black male, date of birth January 23, 1987 , 5’7”, 155 pounds, from Gary , Indiana

Based upon a Criminal Complaint, all four individuals have been charged with one count of robbery, a violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 2113 (a) and Title 18, United States Code, Section 2.
