$5,000 REWARD OFFERED IN SEARCH FOR NORTHWEST INDIANA GANG LEADER

Keith L. Lourdeau, Special Agent in Charge of the Indianapolis Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced today that a reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to the location and arrest of LASHAWN ANTIONE TANNER, age 32, whose last known addresses were 1524 Croft Court, Indianapolis, Indiana, and 2184 Cumulus Court, West Lafayette, Indiana.

TANNER has been the subject of a nationwide manhunt since he was indicted in December of 2004, along with 17 other known or suspected gang members, with conspiracy to distribute controlled substances. TANNER, along with his two brothers, led the Renegades Street Gang. The gang was responsible for disturbing significant quantities of powder cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana in Northwest Indiana, during the late 1990’s and continuing through 2004.

TANNER is described as a black/male, 32 years of age, 5’8” tall, 240 pounds, black hair, and brown eyes. TANNER is believed to have the following tattoos: a tribal art bracelet on his right wrist; the words “Grim Reaper” on his right arm; and the word “Renegade” (Chinese writing) on his left arm. He is known on the street as “Bees” and “Fats”.
