EVANSVILLE CRACK DEALER SENTENCED PRESS RELEASE Timothy M. Morrison, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana, announced that ANTONIO MILES, 24, Evansville, Indiana, was sentenced to 120 months’ imprisonment yesterday by U.S. District Judge Richard L. Young following his guilty plea to possession of cocaine base with intent to distribute. This case was the result of a five-month investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Evansville Police Department. MILES was a drug runner for a cocaine trafficking organization. The organization distributed approximately 4 kilograms of crack cocaine from May 2007 through August 29, 2007. MILES distributed his crack cocaine from a crack house used by the organization that was located on Jackson Street in Evansville. According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Bradley A. Blackington, who prosecuted the case for the government, Judge Young also imposed five years supervised release following MILES’ release from imprisonment. During the period of supervised release, MILES will be subjected to random urinalysis and random searches of his person, vehicle, and residence. ###
